Spadina streetcar, fashionably conscious on the TTC.

Caucasian woman, 40ish, with long brown hair and glasses, wearing black and white pinstriped pants, black boots and brown coat with leather belt and leather-lined pockets.

Sweetness in the Belly, Camilla Gibb (Doubleday Canada)

Page 30:

Every month we try not to appear hopeful, but we are. Every month we try not to appear disappointed, but we are. The truth is, reuniting people as we do is bittersweet.
Why does she choose to take transit? She comes from a two--maybe, three--car household. She doesn't work in the financial district, nor the fashion district. Perhaps she takes the car to Union Station, walks the rest of the way to the Distillery District where she curates the exhibits at the Sandra Ainsley Gallery, taking her lunches among illuminated alleys of blue cones and scattered pebbles, chewing. Chewing.

Camilla is a remarkable writer. Have you read her earlier work too, aurillia?
